Policies
Final guest CONFIRMATION is required 72 hours prior to the event. Guest will be billed for the final CONFIRMATION or actual number served (should additional guests arrive Chartwells will accommodate where possible). Cancellations must be submitted 3 days prior to the event date if under 30 guests and 5 days prior to the event if over 30 guests, otherwise, a cancellation fee of 50% will be applied. All cancellations made less than 24 hours of the event will be charged a cancellation fee of 100%. Same day orders will be based on product and staff availability and a fee of $10 will be charged. Management also holds the right to charge a fee for delivery.
All events catered on weekends or after 4pm during the week are subject to added charges that will be communicated by your Catering Coordinator during the planning process.
Due to Quality Assurance restrictions, leftover food cannot be packaged or boxed for carry out or take-home purposes.
Linen is provided for the food stations. Additional linen requests will incur a $10/linen charge. China and cutlery service is available upon request and will be charged at market rental prices.
Upon event completion, Chartwells associates must recover all equipment from the delivery locations. Please notify the catering department, 905-735-2211 ext 7212 if any equipment is moved. Any catering equipment that is not recovered within 48 hours will be billed at purchase value.
All prices are subject to taxes. Custom menus will be priced according to market value. And there will be a premium price adjustment for guests requiring full menus with specific dietary restrictions.
1. External guest functions are subject to the Venue Excellence fee of $125
2. External guest functions are required to make a deposit of 50% at the time of booking and the remaining 50% the day of the event. Payment may be made by MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, cash or debit.
3. All internal guest functions require full payment within 15 days from the date of the invoice
We attempt to provide nutrition and ingredient information that is as complete as possible. Products may change without our knowledge and menu items are prepared near other ingredients that may result in cross-contact with other allergen ingredients.
